Driver Ncongwane is an Advocate of the High Court. He qualified as an Attorney in 1986, and practiced as such for a period of 35 years before conversion and enrolment to practice as an advocate and independent legal practitioner.

Driver practiced in his own account as an attorney under the name and style Ncongwane Siwela Attorneys in Witbank and later under DA Ncongwane Attorneys in Pretoria.

He gained extensive knowledge and a sound understanding across a wide range of complex issues associated with Health and Safety Law in diverse general industries and specific sectors including energy, mining, construction, aviation, transportation, as well as maritime and marine safety.
